The Real Equity Group of Companies was created in 2001 by Greg Habstritt, the founding partner, as a private real estate investment firm.

Initially, under Real Equity Partners Inc., the company's focus was on the acquisition and management of a real estate portfolio consisting of low- and medium-density residential and commercial properties.

Soon thereafter, a separate division was formed to assist other investors in achieving their investment goals through the acquisition of investment real estate. The demand from individual investors for help in building their investment portfolios continued to grow, and Real Equity continued to expand to include several entities, primarily designed to allow individual investors to participate in opportunities created by Real Equity. For the past several years, Real Equity has continued to acquire real estate holdings primarily in the Calgary area, and now owns and manages a private portfolio of real estate in the asset value range of $90 Million dollars.

Additionally, the demand for training and education on how to successfully invest in real estate led to the creation of a series of educational programs designed and delivered by Real Equity’s founder, Greg Habstritt. In 2005, MasterWealth Training Inc. was formed, and has become a leading international training program for real estate investors, with students attending the program from across North America, Australia and Europe.

The Real Equity Group of Companies includes full property management services, construction/project management, agency, administration and accounting/auditing services for its significant portfolio of properties. The firm's core management team is led by Greg, who was joined by Kourosh Assef and Gil Lederhos as equity partners of the group and continue to help lead the group's growth and expansion.

The company continues to acquire real estate assets primarily in Alberta, and has recently expanded by creating an international recreational property development division. Additionally, it continues to leverage its vast experience and knowledge in real estate investing by providing unique and low-risk investment opportunities to individual investors seeking participation in the incredible Alberta real estate market, as well as select international recreational destinations.
