Canadian investors have the choice to invest using registered funds (such as RRSP funds), or to invest non-registered funds (ie: cash), or a combination of both.

In all cases, the minimum investment is $25,000, with $1,000 increments thereafter. In order to invest, an investor must review the documentation associated with the fund, including the Offering Memorandum, the Subscription Agreement and the Disclosure.

If investing with cash, the investor simply signs off the documents and submits them with a cheque payable to the LP. In the case of investing RRSP funds, there are a few more steps required.
